- Opportunity to enter the Southwest Florida Regional IBC and possibly advance to the Worldwide IBC, (International Blues Challenge) held annually in Memphis TN.
- Submit Your Current CD release, (from November-1 to October 25th. annually) for further consideration and to possibly be awarded with the honors of, the “Best Self-Produced CD” in Memphis during the annual IBC.

The Regional & Memphis IBC
The “International Blues Challenge” is the Blues Foundation’s signature event that turns all of Beale Street into a five-day big blues venue, and has hosted more than 260 blues acts from around the world.
To Get There, you must win a Regional IBC, hosted by a Blues Society, that’s a Blues Foundation Affiliate.
Each Affiliate can Register representatives from these three categories:
1). A Youth Showcase Act, as a solo act, a solo/duo act or as a band, (all members of a Youth Showcase must be under 21 years of age during the Memphis IBC. Although entering as a youth showcase regionally this act could conceivably be later entered in the adult competition depending on the overall regional score and the artists preference.
2). Solo/ Duo Category.
3). Band Category
“Best Self-Produced CD” awards are also presented during the Memphis IBC.
You have the potential of entering your work as a Best Self-Produced CD but must be released Between November 1st. and October 31st. annually. Other rules and restrictions my apply, additional info here …
