International Blues Challenge
The Largest Gathering of Blues Musicians anywhere in the world.
The International Blues Challenge represents the worldwide search for blues bands and solo/duo blues performers ready for the international stage, yet just needing that extra big break. The world’s largest gathering of blues musicians will take place on Beale Street, with over 20 clubs hosting the challengers and fans. In addition to featuring these final rounds of the prestigious blues music competition, the IBC event week will offer seminars, showcases, master classes, film screenings, networking events, book signings, and receptions for blues societies, fans, and professionals.

The Southwest Florida Blues Society is a foundation affiliate.
The Regional IBC is being rescheduled for Sunday, August 25th. 2024, and will be hosted at, “Mango Rita’s Rhythm House”, 16440 S Tamiami Trail, Ste.#11, Fort Myers, FL 33908
Artist Registration Deadline,
Tuesday, August 20th. 2024 (Registration In Hand)

The IBC is best descriped by JP Soars and the Red Hots. The 2009 Memphis IBC Winners, and JP also won Gibsons, Albert King Guitar Player of the Year award.
We feel this is important for any Artist who considers entering the IBC competition.
