Opening Act:

Pat McLaughlin Band, while fronting his own band, Pat has been known and recognized for bringing awareness to the challenges that soldiers face when returning to civilian life.  He started a nonprofit organization to promote live music for disabled veterans. His nonprofit, “Vets for Music”, put on their first outdoor VetsFest with three bands in 2016.

On Saturday, November 16, Pat and the band will open for “the Jimmys” at Cape Cabaret.  Performing with Pat will be Bob Menzies, best known as Bryan Lee’s drummer, for 3 years until Bryans death in 2020.  Pat will also be joined by bass player Greg Voorhees, a legend in these parts. He has toured the world with different groups, most notably the Gregg Allman Band in the 80’s. He has played with many well-known names over the years, (Dan Toler, Dickey Betts, Twinkle) and is considered one of the best bass players in Southwest Florida.  Rounding round out the stage on Saturday evening will be Steve Michelin also known by locals around Southwest Florida, the “Pat McLaughlin Band” will be performing from 6-7 PM at Cape Cabaret.
